State Road 436 (Florida) : ウィキペディア英語版
Florida State Road 436

State Road 436 (SR 436), known as Semoran Boulevard for most of its length and Altamonte Drive in Altamonte Springs, is a northwest-southeast beltway in the Orlando area running from US 441 in Apopka to the Beachline Expressway near Orlando International Airport. Constructed in the late 1960s, the road passes through Seminole County, Florida and Orange County, Florida. Because of this, the common name for SR 436 is a combination of the names of the two counties: "Sem" and "oran", hence "Semoran Boulevard." The common pronunciation of "Semoran" resembles that of Cimarron.
==Route description==
Starting at the intersection with US 441 in Apopka, SR 436 runs east and intersects with SR 434 and Interstate 4 (I-4). East of this interchange, the road is named East Altamonte Drive, and widens to 8-10 lanes. The road returns to the Semoran Blvd. designation and begins to turn to the south after the intersection with US 17 and US 92 (U.S.17-92). Heading south, the road enters Orlando and intersects with East Colonial Drive (SR 50) under a flyover intersection. This intersection was considered to be one of the deadliest intersections in the nation with an average of three accidents per day. It then intersects the Holland East-West Expressway, still heading south. The road has interchanges with SR 552 and SR 15 before ending at the Beachline Expressway. South of the interchange, the road continues south without a state road designation as the main access road to Orlando International Airport.
